I always used to think that being able to get a lot done, with lots of skills and talents, was a good thing. But if you look at the great achievers of the world, a large majority focus on being great at ONE thing. Whatever their strength is… they exhibit a mastery at it.

If you've watched the documentary Quincy, you saw mastery in music is something Quincy Jones strove to achieve - moving across genres and mediums, growing creatively and outdoing his best with each step. His mastery opened doors to wealth, connections and the ability to give back to the global community in ways that will be felt for generations.

That's what's possible when you tap into your own genius.

Everyone you admire has dedicated time and energy to their personal genius.

Serena Williams, Ellen Degeneres, Oprah Winfrey, Usain Bolt, Beyoncé, everyone featured on Chef’s Table…

And while we can argue about what the genius is - you can’t argue there is a special je ne sais quoi about everyone on the list. And if you’re reading this… it also exists in you.

My goal is to show you - the entrepreneurial minded business owner - how to build a space where you can be creative and grow a thriving business. I refer to this as becoming a CEO, using the conventional definition below:

Steps in the Managerial Decision Making Process

Being the CEO of a small business is the same, however the types of objectives may vary. For an artist, it might be to create a series of paintings. For a web designer, it might be to build a portfolio of beautiful websites. These creative projects would replace corporate objectives, like increasing, growth, or hitting $X million in MRR, or whatever.

Financial targets are great - and encouraged - but they are achieved through your genius and execution of your talents… your je ne sais quoi. But if you’re too busy, too overworked, too tired to harness the true power of your skillset, you’ll never accomplish the full extent of your greatness. You’ll never redeem that winning lottery ticket.

The point is that you can’t be the CEO if you’re always busy doing everything else in the business, and I want to offer a way to make that happen in your business today... Regardless of where you are right now.
